Aseveryonesacksout,ahaplesssupportingcharactorwhosenameisatthebottomofthecastinglist(guesswhatwillhappentohim)hearssomethinginthelowercompartment.Despiteyourfutiledon'tgodownthere,youjerccc!pleas,hedoesjustthat,andisappropriatelykilled(morelikethoroughlyobliterated)bytheshadowyfigurewithinsatiablebloodlustonitsmind.Inthevictim'scase,derelictionofdutyandsheercowardlinesswouldhavebeenthewisedecision.Thesceneisactuallywell-directed(forachange)anddevelopsmuchsuspense,astheentirefilmsurprisinglydoes. Thecrewfinallycatchesonthattheyhaveanunwantedshipcrasheronboard,andtryeverypossiblemeansattheirdisposaltoeliminateit,buttheunknowncreatureseemstocoppingananti-deathattitude.Provingtobeanevenmoreclever,worthyadversary,'IT!'alsohidesoutintheventilationshaftsoftheship(nowthatshouldringabell).Cahn'sforcefuldirectiongeneratesconsiderabletensionasthemalevolentstowawayworksitswayupfromoneleveloftheconfinedshiptothenext,eventuallyleavingtheremainingcharacterstrappedatthetop.Themovie'ssuspenseisbluntandrighttothepointIT!'hastokillthemorstarve,hencetheyhavetokillIT!ordie.Nothinglikethosenotwowaysaboutitchoices.Rentit,orcheckforitoncableifyouwishtoknowtheoutcome. Foralow-budgetquickie,IT!isquiteimpressiveandmemorable.Thedreadedsenseofclaustrophobictension,renderingthecharacters'helplessentrapment,ishighlyeffective.Thisisaproductioninwhichthelimitedbudgetandsmallsetsactuallyworkinfavoroftheplot'sscaryambience.Theblackwhitephotography(Yes,it'soneofthose!)helpstoenhanceitsdark,creepymood,andthesenseofapprehensionisquitehigh.(Moderndaycolorfreaksneverseemtotakethatintoconsideration).TheplotisalsosomewhatcynicallyironicIfthecreaturehadn'tstowedawayontheship,Carrutherswouldhavemostlikelybeenfoundguiltyofthechargesagainsthim. Theintelligentscript(seewhatImeanaboutrareity)waspennedbynotedScience-FictionauthorJeromeBixby(rememberTwilightZone'sIt'saGoodLife)Thepicture'stauteditingeliminatesanyextraneousdross.(ALIENtendedtodraginitsfirsthourwithitssophomoricdialogue,andwhydidithavetoincludethatstupidandultimatelycounter-productivesub-plotofAshbeingarobot,andfurtherdraggingthestorydowntoanotherbigbadconspiracyclicheUNNECESSARY!!!) DirectorCahnastutelykeepstherubber-suitedmonsteroff-screenandintheshadowsthrough-outmostoftheproceedings,keepingyourparanoidimaginationonconstantalert.Unfortunately,perhapsatthestudio'scommercialinsistance,itisalittleover-revealedattheclimax,butIhaven'tclaimedthistobetheperfectmasterpiece.Theperformances,thoughnothingaward-winning,areneverthelesscoolenoughsothatonebecomessincerelyconcernedastotheirfates.Notmanymoviesinrecenttimesevercomeclosetoachievingthat.Theycanbeover-producedfromheretoeternity,andusuallyonlysucceedinbeinggloriouslyannoying. 简介：【小熊历险记】（YellowstoneCubs）是迪斯尼1963年推出的一部TV电影，早年迪斯尼曾经拍过一系列以真实动物为主角的纪录片『真实世界历险记』，后来迪斯尼又于1957年时推出了一部有剧情的野外纪实片【小松鼠】（Perri），但这些当时都是在戏院首度推出的电aaa。到了迪斯尼开始用心经营电视频道，跟美国ABC频道买下时段制播专门的TV电影（『迪斯尼奇妙世界』系列作品），【小熊历险记】也是其中之一，但这片却是跟【小松鼠】同样的野外纪实动物剧情片。 像【小熊历险记】这样的野外纪实剧情片拍摄起来是十分困难的，不但必须像拍摄纪录片般从旁捕捉镜头，还要加上想像力叙述成一个吸引人的故事。【小熊历险记】故事就是关于黄石公园里的两只小黑熊Tuffy和Tubby，他们意外跟熊妈妈走散了，于是整个夏季就在黄石公园里四处冒险，希望能和妈妈重逢，另一方面，熊妈妈也在找寻她的两位小宝贝，跟随他们留下的足迹寻觅而来。 【小熊历险记】全片都是在美国黄石公园中实地拍摄，由CharlesL.Draper担任执导，剧本则是由RalphWright所完成，全片是由RexAllen负责旁白叙述故事，配乐则是由曾经配乐过许多部早年迪斯尼电影的PaulJ.Smith所负责。本片并没有在美国的一般市面上发行影音产品，而是只有推出给迪斯尼电影俱乐部的会员独家订购而已。 【小熊历险记】在台湾没有发行过任何影音产品，也还未曾在台湾的迪士尼频道上播出过。
